Basketball Fans Camp Alytus

Located on the banks of the Nemunas River, this fans camp is a temporary tent city. Alytus Arena and the city centre can be reached by public transport in 20 minutes. The camp is an 8-minute drive or 40-minute walk from the arena. Special night buses will operate during the tournament. It is located on a large private airfield where guests can also rent an airplane with a pilot. Each tent cottage at Basketball Fans Camp Alytus provides beds with mattresses and blankets. 24-hour security is provided. Showers and toilets are shared and are located outside the tents. Free Wi-Fi is available in public areas. The Alytus Fans Camp is divided into an entertainment and an accommodation area. The entertainment area is completely separate from the tent area and includes pubs, bars, lunch rooms, a festival stage with performances, and sports grounds for football and basketball. All guests enjoy free admission to the entertainment area for all activities, including concerts and basketball games broadcast on a big screen. Guests can use safes at the 24-hour reception. Free private parking is available. The tournament takes place from 31 August to 18 September 2011. Games in Alytus take place from 31 August to 05 September.
