You can ski downhill right back to Hotel Sun Valley.

The romantic Wildschönau high valley is a hiking paradise in the heart of the Kitzbühel Alps. 180 km of well-groomed hiking trails lead up to 2,300 metres above sea level. A winter holiday in Wildschönau means 51 km of excellently groomed pistes of all levels of difficulty, up to 1,900 metres above sea level. 15 km of these are equipped with snow cannons and guarantee snow cover down to the valley on 100 days a year. There are excellent conditions for snowboarding, cross-country skiing and winter hiking as well.

Our holiday hotel is situated in the village of Auffach in the Wildschönau high valley, just 120 metres from the cable car to the Schatzberg ski resort. In summer and in winter, our centrally located but quiet hotel is an ideal starting point for all activities in Wildschönau. The hotel features a large sauna and relax area, as well as a heated outdoor pool (open in summer), both of which are free to use for hotel guests. We offer comfortable rooms with balcony, an excellent restaurant, an elevator and plenty of parking.

Hotel-Pension Almrose is situated on the edge of Auffach in the Wildschönau Valley. Guests can retreat to the Alpine-style lounge bar, sun terrace or infrared and Finnish saunas. Guests can get to the Kitzbuhel & Wörgl ski and snowboarding area with the free ski bus that stops 100 metres away. Cross-country skiing, hiking and mountain biking paths lead directly from Hotel-Pension Almrose. The guest house offers free guided snow-shoe hiking and other guided tours. The guest house serves a buffet breakfast and can organise packed lunches for those going out for the day.For free, guests have access to the on-site fitness centre, private parking and Wi-Fi available in public areas and some rooms. Rooms are decorated with modern, Tyrolean-style furnishings and offer cable TV. Hotel-Pension Almrose offers a half board option. Within a 5-minute walk are restaurants, shops and the floodlit toboggan slope. In summer, guests are given free access to outdoor tennis courts and swimming pool, which are 5 minutes away by car.
