Food & beverage

Our restaurant "Zum Fährmann" ("To the Ferryman") is located some 20 metres away from the main hotel building. From Monday to Friday we offer a frequently changing menu comprising German, regional and international dishes. Food is served until 21:00. Please note that the restaurant is closed on Sundays and bank holidays. Our breakfast buffet is available from 06:45 to 10:00 from Monday to Saturday, and from 07:30 to 10:00 on Sundays and bank holidays.

Area information

Our hotel lies a 20-minute walk from the enchanting centre of Bad Säckingen. The baroque cathedral with its frescos and long wooden bridge is well worth a visit. Cycling, tennis, golf, paragliding, swimming and hiking are all possible in the surrounding area.

Travel information

A5 Hamburg – Basel, Exit Loerrach through Rheinfelden to Bad Saeckingen. At the first traffic light right (in front of Mc Donalds) into the Jurastrasse. Then turn left into the Rheinuferstrasse and there you will see the hotel. N3 Basel – Zurich until the exit Eiken. Here into direction Bad Saeckingen/ boarder crossing. After 4 km turn left at the roundabout. At the next junction right and you already reached the hotel. A81 Stuttgart – Singen exit Donaueschingen. Via Blumberg, Waldshut to Bad Saeckingen. At the last traffic light just before the end of the town turn left into the Jurastrasse. Then turn left into the Rheinuferstrasse and there you will see the hotel.

Quick description

Our hotel lies directly on the Rhine and is the ideal starting point for shorter and longer hikes, walks and cycle rides along the river or through the Hotzenwald forest. Switzerland and the Alsace region can also be explored from here.

This 3-star superior hotel is family oriented and children friendly. Our spacious conservatory invites you to spend some time together in a cosy setting. Our hotel bar is open to guests daily until 02:00. In our lobby you find a small library where several daily readings take place. For youngsters we offer a separate lounge, while various play corners are available for very small children.
