Our guest rooms feature cottage-style décor and furniture of waxed natural wood. We do of course offer rooms suitable for non-smokers and mobility impaired guests.

Food & beverage

We offer a variety of dining areas as well as a covered terrace, where you can enjoy hearty regional specialities, international dishes or innovative cuisine. Our numerous hunting trophies are testament to our love of fresh local game. Fresh fish from around the world are also available here, as are classic Argentinian steaks. To accompany your meal we offer an extensive wine list. In addition to high quality international products, we also consciously use regional suppliers who undergo quality control. We enhance our menu with seasonal accents, to ensure constant variety.

Area information

Well-marked hiking trails begin right outside the hotel and invite you to go for leisurely walks. The region surrounding the hotel offers a wide variety of recreational activities, sights and cultural attractions such as concerts, lectures on medical topics and festivals within the abbey ruins at Bad Hersfeld. The attractive town of Bad Sooden offers a mine, a salt mine and a border museum. Explore the Old Town with its rows of wonderfully restored timber-framed houses from the 15th century.

This guesthouse is situated in the health resort of Bad Sooden-Allendorf, in the upper end of Werra Valley, and offers a wonderful panoramic view of the surrounding landscape of Middle Germany.
