Apartments Mrakic is conveniently located only 300 metres from the Kanin ski centre, in the picturesque ski resort of Bovac. You will find the property in a quiet area, yet close to the city centre which is 500 metres away. There is also a shop nearby. Apartments Mrakic is decorated in a stylish and modern way, providing all the necessary amenities and free wireless internet. Bovec offers great sports possibilities. In summer you can try rafting, kayaking or canoeing, or discover many great biking roads. In winter the ski centre Kanin - Stella Nevea with its beautiful views and slopes for skiing and snowboarding awaits you. Travel information

The shortest way till Bovec from north Europe is highway Salzburg-Villach-Tarvisio and from Tarvisio regional road direction Predil Pass-Bovec. For the arrivals from west, we suggest highway till Udine-south and than the first road to right direction Manzano-Cividale- Kobarid-Bovec. The nearest airports: Ljubljana 110km,Trieste(I) 100km, Klagenfurt (A) 100 km. The nearest bus station: 100 meters from hotel.

Quick description

Hotel Kanin is located just 100 metres from the Bovec centre in a quiet location, surrounded by a large garden. Behind the hotel are 4 tennis courts, a children’s playground, Boccia and beach volleyball facilities. Most of the rooms have a balcony on the south side of the hotel. The rooms were renovated in 2008 and a new wellness centre with an extensive offer including saunas and massages was added. During the winter, guests are skiers who enjoy skiing on the highest Slovenian ski resort Kanin (2200 metres). In the summer there are many hikers and cyclists as well as guests who adore pure nature, different water sports activities and golf.

Hotel information

Hotel Alp has an air-conditioned restaurant and a lounge for non-smokers. There is also a confectionery shop and a terrace. Guests can use a swimming pool which is located close to the hotel (there is a charge for the use of it). In 2008, a massage parlour and 3 saunas - Turkish, Finnish and infra-red - have been added to the hotel facilities.

Food & beverage

Breakfast is served from 7:00 until 10:00, lunch from 12:00 until 14:00 and dinner from 19:00 until 21:00. There are à la carte and self-service meals.

Area information

The river Soča offers a multi-activity holiday. Bovec and the surroundings have a lot to offer - historical monuments, natural beauties, cultural festivals, a wide selection of both winter and summer sports such as rafting, kayaking and fishing on the water. You can explore caves or climb freely, or experience tandem paragliding (with an instructor) and aero taxi.

* Directions for visitors coming from the direction of Ljubljana and Gorenjska * The most suitable means of reaching us is by crossing into Italy at the border pass Rateče near Kranjska gora, then via Tarvisio in Italy and over the Predel pass (Don't forget an identity document)- you will see that Bovec is not as far as it is thought to be. * Other possibilities are via Idrija - Tolmin - Bovec or Škofja loka -Petrovo brdo - Tolmin -Bovec, both of which can be taken as excursions as they require a little more time and more careful driving.

From 23 April to 24 September electricity is included in the price of the apartment. From 07 January to 23 April and from 24 September to 10 December, an average rate is to be paid separately per apartment and day. There are mandatory final cleaning fees and they start at EUR 26.

Set in the ski region of Bovec, 400 metres from the centre, Apartments Kaninska Vas is surrounded by the Julian Alps. It offers south-facing accommodations with private bathrooms and kitchens. From December to March night tobogganing is organised in the evening hours. Guests can also reach Kanin ski area within one km.
