Casa Wagner is located in the very heart of the old city of Brasov, right on the pedestrian area Council Square, with amazing views of the famous Black Church and Mount Tampa. The hotel has a very special atmosphere as you will be accommodated in a historic setting, in a building that dates back to 1477, decorated with locally crafted furnishings and antique artwork. All the rooms have been renovated and refurbished to preserve the past, while providing every modern amenity. A rich buffet breakfast is served every day in the cosy breakfast room on the first floor. The hotel bar is open daily serving coffee, tea or diverse wines and liquors. In collaboration with Active Travel, Casa Wagner offers diverse tours and excursions to Brasov and the Piatra Mare Massif as well as creative workshops.

Travel information

Getting to Brasov is very easy. Between Bucharest and Brasov there are many trains daily and there are also frequent trains from other Romanian cities as well as a daily connection to Budapest, Hungary (via Oradea) and a EuroNight (fast night train) connection to Budapest via Arad. Taking the InterCity (IC) trains is recommended. Road E60 will be the main road to use in and out of Brasov, because this European road links Brasov to Bucharest in the south, as well as Cluj-Napoca, Oradea and Budapest in the west. Road E68 will take you to Sibiu and further onwards to Arad and Timisoara. Road E574 takes you into the north, to the Moldavia region and the painted monasteries and Iasi.
