Important information

The published rates for stays on the 31 December include a mandatory fee for the gala dinner and New Year's Eve party held on that evening. Children up to 12 years old using extra beds on the same date will be charged 25% of the standard room rate per child, per night.

The Vilar restaurant provides a typical village cuisine. Simple traditional dishes are cooked with the very best fresh local produce. There is a large, open grill for cooking meat and this can be accompanied with vegetables from the Vilar allotment. Choose from a wide range of homemade desserts. Due to the country air guests usually enjoy a hearty breakfast which includes toasted bread with tomatoes, and a variety of local sausages. Dine while admiring the magnificent views of Cardona and the Salina valley. The buffet also includes tasty children's meals and gluten-free diets are catered for upon request on reservation. Area information

Cardona has a lot to offer to the visitor. The “Colegiata de Sant Vicenç”, located at the Medieval Castle is a must and a jewel of the Catalan Romanic. We also recommend you to visit “La Montaña de Sal” (salt mountains). The mines were closed down 10 years ago for different reasons. Today, guided tours are organized.
