At an altitude of 1200 metres, Rifugio Perugia was built in 1929. It is located above the Piano Grande plateau, 600 metres from the Forche Canapine Ski resort. The Rifugio was completely renovated preserving the original Rationalist architecture. It offers compact guest rooms and dormitory rooms, all with shared bathroom. The Perugia is in the municipality of Castelluccio di Norcia, at the foot of Mount Vettore. Parking is free. The restaurant with bar serves local cuisine, including the area's famous Castelluccio lentils. During summer the garden is equipped with parasols, chairs and tables.
