Situated on the shore of Lac de Champex, this traditional Alpine-style chalet offers a beach bar and a restaurant. The Champex gondola lift to La Breya is 700 metres away. Au Club Alpin offers a range of rooms with shared bathroom facilities. Most rooms have a balcony overlooking the garden or the lake. The restaurant has traditional features such as carved wooden furniture, wood panels on the walls and cowbells and wooden beams in the ceiling. Set around an open fireplace, it serves Swiss dishes and grilled meats, and all fondues and raclettes are prepared with cheese from a local farmer. The Au Club is situated in Champex, 36 km from French border and 33 km from the Italian border.
