Hotel Balcon de Competa is situated in Competa, in the Sierra de Almijara Mountains. Set in attractive gardens, this hotel has 2 outdoor swimming pools, a restaurant and rooms with balconies. The Balcon is close to many picturesque walking routes and is within 15 km of the Tejeda and and Alhama Mountains.

Room information

Alberdini consist of 7 hotelrooms and 4 bungalows, some with double bed and some with twin beds. Some of the rooms are spacious enough to fit extra beds or childs beds. Every room has a separate bathroom with shower, toilet and sink. All of the rooms and bungalows are situated close to the main building, with easy access to the terraces and the swimming pool, and with stunning views over the mountains, all the way down to the coast. The bungalows are all very different and all of them fit 2 people. All bedding and towels are provided.

Food & beverage

The Alberdini’s restaurant is open daily for lunch and dinner, available as tapas selections, set meals or à la carte options. On occasions the restaurant may also offer brunches and afternoon tea. In addition, a traditional Spanish menu of paella and other seasonal dishes is served each Saturday night.

Competa is one of the most prominent white villages within Axarquia. Explore the surroundings with a horse riding, walking or cycling expedition. The Alberdini can help you organise various actvities such as trips to the national park and the coast.

Use the property as a base to visit the charming nearby village of Cómpeta. You can also explore the stunning scenery of Axarquia which surrounds the town, including the Almijara nature park. The coast is 16 km away along a scenic mountain road.
