In Concarneau, visit the medieval Ville Close (walled town) and the fishing museum. They were collectively known as "Pont-Aven School". Quimper (20 km) is the ancient capital of La Cornouaille, Brittany’s most traditional region, and has a distinctive Breton character. The town has a rustic atmosphere with footbridges spanning the rivers that flow through it Bénodet (25 km) is one of the most fashionable seaside resorts in Brittany. The town is home to a casino, a thalassotherapy, cinema, a marina, hotels and a few beaches.
