Area information

Our hotel is located in the Eifel mountain range in the Rhineland-Palatinate, on part of the Rheinisches Schiefergebirge (literally: Rheinish slate mountains). This ridged, mountainous and mostly forested terrain is bordered to the south-east by the Moselle valley, to the north-east by the River Rhine and to the west by the Ardennes. The highest elevations in the area are of volcanic origin, and the nearby Hohe Acht mountain is 747 metres high.

Our cordial, family-run hotel enjoys a picturesque setting in the Eifel mountain range, and offers you an abundance of charm and comfort. Relax and let off steam in our bowling alley, whilst challenging your family and friends to a game. Our hotel restaurant is furnished in a traditional style with cosy wooden furniture. You can relax and spend many a fine evening here, whilst enjoying the hearty, delicious German food typical of the area. Enjoy a classical or Ayurvedic massage with our in-house therapist. Alternatively we can organise hiking or Nordic walking tours for you.
