Numerous cable cars and lifts bring you up to the mountains to enjoy the well-groomed ski slopes, but the area is also a paradise for hikers and for people just seeking relaxation. Davos boast several sights and attractions, like the renowned Kirchner museum, the Spengler ice hockey cup between Christmas and New Year, various events in the Congress Centre like the World Economic Forum at the end of January and last but not least the fascinating mountains with its wonderful flora and fauna.

By Public Transport: You can reach us via Landquart on the Raetian railway. We are happy to pick you up from Davos Platz station on request.

Just a 10-minute walk from the Jakobshorn cable car and the Davos Platz railway station, the great Alpenhof hotel also situated close to cross-country skiing tracks and hiking trails. The cosy and very quiet rooms featuring charming furniture made of Swiss stone pine of local origin offer wonderful mountain views and provide wired internet access. The entire hotel is a no-smoking zone. Enjoy popular Grison and Swiss specialities as well as vegetarian dishes in the unique rustic atmosphere the timbered restaurant or on the garden terrace. Breakfast is included in the room rate but half board is possible as well. You can park your car safely in the hotel garage, you can relax on the inviting sun terrace and the little ones can have fun in the play area.
