Restaurant Kristal serves delicious cuisine in The Bio Corner and The Grandma's Corner; the food is of controlled origin, most of it coming from local farms which respect tradition and follow ecologically-friendly land cultivation and food production practices. The friendly and devoted staff will assist you when organising celebrations and festive events at the Kristal. The coffee bar has a fireplace, a piano and a terrace by the water, which is an amazing place to spend great time. You can choose from a wide range of sweets, ice creams, cocktails, top-quality wines, selected teas and coffee.

There are many cycling and walking paths, the Krka River invites you for fishing and boating, and the nearby Kocevski Rog is one of the richest hunting grounds in Slovenia.

There are three indoor pools with thermal water (36°C) in the hotel Vital. Our ancestors believed in its healing power. The Cave Pool and the Pool of Prince are very special. In the Balnea Wellness Centre, only 100 meters away from the hotel, a contemporary indoor pool is available for hotel guests and external visitors. The pool is connected with the bigger outdoor pool, and during the summer season the pool with a pirate ship is available to our youngest guests. The BALNEA Wellness Centre at Dolenjske Toplice offers a comprehensive palette of wellness services as well as facial and body care services which are carried out in the centre's 9200 m2 surface area. Here we offer relaxing pools, saunas, baths and massages as well as body shaping, body care and overall preservation of health.

For 3 decades, Rog Restaurant has been offering selected local food and a rich choice of excellent wines. The restaurant provides its guests with a homely feeling. The staff are very kind and its offer is adjusted to all tastes and wishes. Beside the extensive classical offer, we serve local food to Slovenian food lovers every day, and for gourmets we prepare days of special dishes once a month. Especially pleasant are our restaurant's nights. During the winter time you can sit with your dearest and good food and drinks far into the night by the stove, and in the summer an attractive outer terrace and pleasant music invite you to spend your time outside. Breakfast: 07:00-09:00. Lunch: 12:00-14:00. Dinner: 18:00-20:00.

The attractive surroundings of Dolenjske Toplice, picturesque valley of the river Krka, extensive forests of Kočevski Rog, nearby Novo mesto, and the neighbouring Bela krajina offer many opportunities for relaxation and recreation.

Travel information

From Ljubljana Airport (Brnik) to Novo mesto: - From the airport turn left on the local road. - At the 1st crossroad turn left again and you will come on the highway E63. - Go in direction of Ljubljana. - From Ljubljana follow in the direction of Zagreb (highway E70). - After 70 km you will come to the 1st exit for Novo mesto, on the 1st "circle" crossing turn right on the viaduct. - Take 1st road to the left and then follow signs for Dolenjske Toplice. - After 20 km from Novo mesto, in the direction of Kočeje, you will come to the hotel. By Public Transport: The nearest bus or railway station is in Novo mesto. It is best to take a taxi from here, which costs approximately EUR 20.
