Hotel Villa Gasparini is located along the Riviera del Brenta, between the historical cities of Padua and Venice (bus stop and boat stop near the hotel). The hotel was built in the 18th century by the ancestors of the owners, the noble Venetian family of the Gasparinis. The “Palazzetto” (literally 'little palace'), which used to be a noble summer mansion in the past, was renovated and converted into a hotel in 2006. Renovation works were carried out with the objective of maintaining the true spirit of its glorious past and the charm of its family ambiance. Today the hotel can offer 15 rooms, each of them representing a perfect combination of Venetian classicism and modern comforts: the ideal place to spend some quality time, relax and enjoy Italian art.

The hotel, rebuilt in 2002, is made of two historical buildings: the main villa and the nearby Dependence. The floors, windows and lamps in the villa are the original ones. The hotel is surrounded by an historical park of 9000 square metres, enclosed by an old boundary wall. The park has a typical structure made of a central path and dominated by secular trees, and an orchard area equipped for a solarium, where you can enjoy the wonderful view of the Venetian countryside. Enchanting the evening is our light system. In spring and summer, it is pleasant to have a drink or dinner outside in the park.

The rooms are enriched with antique furniture and are all unique. Some rooms are very large and equipped for families with children.

Food & beverage

The hotel has its own restaurant serving fresh, traditional Italian dishes cooked every night. The restaurant is closed on Saturday evenings and Sunday evenings.

Area information

The Riviera of Brenta is the place where the noble Venetian families built their villas for the summer holidays. Many beautiful villas (some of them can be visited) are situated along the river with their magnificent parks, providing an enchanting landscape. The Riviera of Brenta is strictly connected to the town of Venice, not only for the architectural elements characterising its buildings, but also for the easy connections with it. An easy bus service (every 30 minutes) and a public boat (leaving 10 kilometres from the hotel) connect the Riviera to Venice. Many interesting excursions can be taken in the area. From the visit of the historical towns of Padova, Treviso, Vicenza, Bassano and Asolo to the beaches, among them the Alberoni Beach, one of the rarest natural oases of Alto Adriatico.

Travel information

By car: A4 motorway - Exit Dolo-Mirano and follow directions to Dolo. In the centre of Dolo, turn left at the traffic lights and go straight, following the directions to Venice for about 2 kilometres along the river Brenta. Cross the river on the first bridge and drive along the opposite bank, in the same direction, for about 1.5 kilometres. You will find the hotel on your right. From Venice, take the main road SS 11 to Padua. Drive along the Riviera of Brenta to the centre of Mira, turn left at the traffic lights, cross the bridge and drive along the river bank in the same direction for about one kilometre. You will find the hotel on your left. By train: Stop at Mestre or Padua station, then continue by bus. By bus: There is a service from Venice (Piazzale Roma), Mestre (Piazza Barche) and Padua (Piazzale Boschetti). By airplane: Take a bus or taxi service to Mestre. You can then continue by bus.
