Each morning we offer a breakfast buffet suitable for both early and late risers. Lunch and dinner are served in our restaurant. We offer regional and seasonal dishes. During the summer guests can dine outside on the garden terrace.

Area information

Dranske is situated on the Wittow Peninsula, in the northwest of the island of Rügen. Here you will find not only a beach, but also a coastline dotted with numerous shallow bays, which invites you to go for a stroll.

Travel information

Arriving by plane: The island of Rügen has an airfield in Güttin which is suitable for small aircraft. Within a 300-kilometre radius you find several airports, including those in Hamburg, Berlin, Lübeck and Rostock. Arriving by rail: The nearest railway stations are in in Bergen/Rügen, Lietzow, Sagard and Sassnitz/Rügen. For further details please visit the website of the Deutsche Bahn (German Rail). Arriving by boat: Guests arriving from Scandinavia, Poland and the Baltic states may find it interesting to make their way here by ship. Ferry routes operate from Sassnitz to Trelleborg, Rönne, Klaipeda and to St. Petersburg. You may also reach us via Rostock; from here routes operate to Gedser, Trelleborg, Hanko, Helsinki, Tallin, Liepaja, Odda and Sczecin.

The family-run hotel "Zur kleinen Meerjungfrau" is located directly on the beach and offers 21 rooms and holiday apartments equipped with all modern comforts. Our restaurant with sun terrace serves regional and seasonal dishes. For your relaxation we offer a sauna and massage area, and during the summer you can unwind in our spacious garden with a view of the Baltic Sea. Important information

Please note that you can use the sauna for a modest fee. On request, the hotel provides a shuttle service to and from the Bergnitz, Sassnitz, or Sagard railway station. Fees are applied for this service.
