The guesthouse complex spans two neighbouring roads - Ostra-Allee and Maxstraße - which are home to some of the city's last remaining Wilhelminian period buildings.

Room information

Our comfortable apartment-style guest rooms have an average size of 45m² and include a kitchenette and cable TV. The parquet-laminated flooring guarantees cleanliness and is also beneficial to allergy sufferers. Business guests in particular will appreciate our cost-free broadband internet access/WLAN.

Area information

Zwinger Palace, the Semperoper opera house and the Frauenkirche church can all be reached on foot in a matter of minutes. Mitte railway station and Postplatz square each lie some 500 metres from the guesthouse, and both are convenient transport interchanges. Nearby you find numerous restaurants, a bakery, a butcher's shop, a chemist's and a hairdresser's.

Travel information

From Dresden Airport: - Take S-Bahn (city rail) line S2 to Mitte station (approx. 20 minutes) - At Mitte station, take the exit at the back of the station and head towards the centre ("Zentrum") - Cross Könneritzstraße and keep to the left in order to turn into Maxstraße - After 200 metres you will see our Reception on the right-hand side From Dresden main railway station: - Take the tram number 10 towards Friedrichstadt and get out after 3 stops ("Bahnhof Mitte") - Walk to the left along Könneritzstraße for some 150 metres before turning right into Maxstraße, where you find our Reception From Dresden Neustadt railway station: - Take tram number 11 towards Zschertnitz and get out after 2 stops ("Kongresszentrum") - Turn left along Ostra-Allee, pass the "art’otel" and turn right into Maxstraße to reach our Reception Arriving from Bautzen/Berlin via the motorway: - Take exit "Dresden-Hellerau" - Continue on the B170 towards ZENTRUM - At Dresden Neustadt station go through the underpass and turn right - Follow the course of the road over the Marienbrücke bridge and keep to the left at the second set of traffic lights - Turn left into Maxstraße (a bicycle shop is on the corner) - You find our Reception at number 3 Arriving from Leipzig/Chemnitz via the motorway: - Exit at "Dresden-Altstadt" - Continue on the B6 towards ZENTRUM - At the congress centre, turn right into Kleine Packhofstraße - Turn right into Ostra-Allee - After a few metres turn left into Maxstraße, where you find our Reception

Quick description

This guesthouse is located in Dresden's Old Town, just a few metres from Zwinger Palace, the Semperoper opera house, the Frauenkirche church and the congress centre. It occupies a restored Wilhelminian (or "Gründerzeit") period building, allowing you to experience the charm of historic Dresden up close. Despite our central and easily accessible location, the majority of our guest rooms are extremely quiet. Our apartment-style rooms are generous and bright, and feature parquet laminated floors and cost-free WLAN. A breakfast buffet can be booked each morning in the Restaurant Maximus and is free for children under 6 years. Our guests get a free bottle of mineral water per room by arrival.

Important information

The reception is located at Maxstraße 3, approximately 50 metres from the main building at Ostra-Allee 27. Reception is open between 07:00 and 22:00 from Mondays to Fridays. Reception is open between 09:30 and 18:00 on Saturdays, Sundays and on public holidays. Guests arriving outside reception opening hours can check in using the guest house's check-in machine. To receive the password, please contact the guest house prior to arrival using the contact details found on the booking confirmation.
