Located at the foot of the Zugspitze in Ehrwald, Appartement Auckenthaler is 1 km from the Wettersteinbahn Cable Car. A cross-country ski run is right outside. A public indoor pool is a 5-minute walk away and can be used free of charge by guests of Auckenthaler Appartement. Free private parking is available on site. The free ski bus to the Wettersteinbahn stops right outside, and the bus to the Zugspitze Arena ski region stops 50 metres away. Ehrwald Train Station is 250 metres away, and the village centre can be reached in a 10-minute walk.
