South-facing rooms with great views of the Steigerwald Forest are offered by the family-run Rhodaer Grund. The hotel enjoys a peaceful, green location, 6 km south of Erfurt city centre. Guests stay in spacious, non-smoking rooms or apartments with satellite TV. A modern bathroom with toiletries and a hairdryer is providedin each room. Apartment guests also have their own fully equipped kitchen. International and German cuisine is served in the Rhodaer Grund’s rustic-style restaurant. Breakfast buffets are also available here. In warm weather, guests can eat on the pretty terrace. The Rhodaer Grund Hotel is 10 minutes from the A4 motorway and 25 minutes from Weimar. The surrounding countryside is ideal for hiking and cycling.
