Every room at the Hitsch-Huus boasts an individual touch, has coloured walls and is tastefully decorated with souvenirs from our travels. All have a private bathroom, parquet flooring and elevator access, and some come with balconies and/or cosy sitting corners.

Food & beverage

Dinner and Breakfast: You won't escape our travel memories, at least with regard to eating and drinking. With a hint of wanderlust and homesickness we serve you delicious meals, home-made from seasonal and regional produce. The mostly organically grown produce comes from our own garden and from local farms. And, as is generally known, life is too short to drink bad wine ...

Area information

60 km of hiking trails - the stroll around the village as well as the Prättigau panorama trail - all start and end at our front door. We are a mecca for paragliders and hanggliders, as well as for mountain bikers, who use the trails of the Swiss Bike Masters. Others just hop on the Fanas-Eggli cable car to have a drink at the mountain restaurant. In winter: A ski tour to our local mountain, the Sassauna, snowboarding through deep snow, snow-shoe hiking, cross-country skiing in Grüsch-Danusa, the famous sledge-runs of the Fideriser Heuberge or Bergün, or the ski slopes of Klosters and Davos.

Travel information

By public transport: Go by train to Landquart, change to the Rhätische Bahn (local train) to Grüsch or Schiers, then to Fanas by bus.
