Food & beverage

The hotel's restaurant serves traditional dishes with a contemporary touch with a varying seasonal menu; Spring: Wild garlic, fish and Asparagus dishes. Summer: Grill specialities, Steaks and salads. Autumn: Wild dishes and buffet (Venison, etc), traditional Swiss Rösti. Winter: Chinese Fondue from the buffet, Cheese Fondue, different Cordon-bleu. There is also a long wine list with red and white wines from the region of Wallis.

Area information

The Fiesch-Fiescheralp has a wide view over the region of the Wallis from the ride in the telecabin to the Eggishorn (2926 metres). It is the entry to the Aletsch region.

By Car: From Germany: - Take the motorway Basel-Bern-Spiez, then on the main road to Kandersteg. - Load your car onto the train to go through the Lötschberg to Goppenstein. - Then on the main road to Visp, Brig and Fiesch. From Italy: - Follow signs to Milan, Domodossola, the pass of the Simplon, Brig, Fiesch From France: - On the motorway to Genf, follow signs to Lausanne, St. Maurice, Martigny, Sion and Sierre. - Then on the main road to Visp, Brig and Fiesch

Quick description

This hotel is located only a few steps from the Fiesch-Eggishorn cable car station at the foot of the 24-kilometre long Aletsch glacier and its great hiking and skiing area. In addition to comfortable rooms and a wonderful location in the middle of the Swiss Alps, the hotel features an excellent restaurant with a wide choice of wines.
