Area information

Filzmoos is a cosy, snow-sure mountain village at 1,000 metres above sea level, 60 km away from Salzburg. Located in the heart of the Ski amadé winter sports region, you will find ski schools and ski busses there, as well as slopes leading down to the valley. There are also cleared winter hiking trails, marked and well-groomed cross-country ski runs (including a unique panorama ski run at 1,600 metres, easily accessible by cable car), and horse-drawn sleigh rides.

The Aparthotel Neue Post offers beautiful apartments in an ideal location in the village centre of Filzmoos, in the immediate vicinity of the Papageno ski gondola, the access to the Ski amadé sports world. The comfortable apartments feature fully equipped kitchens and already include bed linen, towels and dish cloths. The south-facing building has a terrace and a sunbathing area. Aparthotel Neue Post’s excellent location lets you reach the centre and many sports facilities in a few minutes’ walk. Many restaurants and shops are only 50 metres away. The Filzmoos Leisure Centre with indoor and outdoor pools is 80 metres away, and the cross-country ski run 30 metres.
