You will be seduced by the castle’s elegant decor, ideal for both personal and professional events, whether it be a reception, wedding, formal or informal party, seminar or a cocktail party. The castle features 4 great and exquisitely decorated salons, 11 bedrooms of various sizes, a large dining room, a bar and a relaxation area with jacuzzi and sauna. One of the two annexes, the former Orangery, has been transformed into a great reception room which can accommodate up to 250 people. As the castle does not have a restaurant on site, an array of excellent restaurants that will delight any gourmet palates can be found within a 3 to 15 km radius of the hotel. The continental breakfast is served in the dining room.

Located on the second level of the main building, each room has its own unique style and offers peaceful views of the quiet pond and forest. Providing a delightful environment for a stay of one night or more, each room also features a uniquely decorated bathroom completed with matching sink, shower and toilet.

Food & beverage

Because the Château de Moresville does not have a restaurant on the site, the management will propose a variety of cold plates for lunch. An array of excellent restaurants suitable to gourmet appetites can be found within a short radius (3 to 15 km).

Come to the castle for a restful stay, or from June to September come enjoy the numerous local outdoor sports activities you can find only ten minutes away, such as golfing, horseback riding, canoeing, wind surfing, sailing, tennis, miniature golf, swimming and flying. By motorway : Paris 124 kms - 1h35mns. Use the interstate (Autoroute: a10) from Paris south At the junction, change to the Autoroute a11 toward Chartres. Exit at Thivars towards Châteaudun (Nationale: n10). Take the Nationale n 10 to Flacey. In Flacey take the Départementale d110 to Moresville From Paris by train :Paris- Gare d'Austerlitz to Châteaudun (travel time: 1:35) Paris-Gare Montparnasse to Chartres (travel time: 1:15)

Quick description

Located on the road to the Loire Castles, the Domaine de Moresville offers calm and relaxation. Only a short ride from Chartres and from Châteaudun, the exquisitely decorated Château de Moresville offers its visitors the pleasure of an unforgettable sojourn in a bucolic setting. Built in 1716, the château was embellished with a tower in 1870 and was very recently renovated to offer maximum comfort and numerous amenities and to satisfy modern needs. In addition to the magnificent main building flanked by its two annexes, the property boasts an ancient chapel as well as a picturesque pigeon shelter. The entire complex is set within a verdant and flowery park inhabited by hundred-year-old trees, and the handsome image of the Château is quietly reflected in the adjacent pond.
