Nineteen function rooms and 3 multi-functional congress halls are available for groups, conferences and seminars of up to 5000 people. The beauty and spa area is 4000 square metres in size and features 4 Finnish saunas, 2 steam rooms, a vapour bath, a Turkish bath, a jacuzzi, 3 dream baths and an ice fountain. Furthermore, there are 4 quiet rooms, a swimming pool (25 metres x 21 metres in size) and a saltwater pool with jet streams. Ten cabins are available for beauty treatments and massages.

The Esperanto’s bright double rooms, single rooms and suites feature all of the standard amenities. The luxury suites offer magnificent views of the Fulda area.

Food & beverage

The El Jardin is the hotel’s main restaurant. It features a delightful terrace, and serves regional and international cuisine. You can also enjoy breakfast, brunch and lunch buffets here. On the 6th floor, you will find the Toro Negro restaurant which offers Brazilian and Mediterranean specialities. You will also find the Buena Vista Bar here, where you can enjoy cocktails, whiskies and wines. Both the Buena Vista and the Toro Negro feature great views of the city. Experience the Spanish-style atmosphere of the Bodega wine cellar, which offers a comprehensive selection of wines, Spanish specialities and themed buffets.

Area information

The city of Fulda lies in the centre of Germany and is easily reached by train and car. The Hotel ESPERANTO boasts an excellent location, lying only a few minutes’ walk away from the city centre and pedestrian zone with cultural attractions, beautiful architecture and shopping opportunities. The Stadtschloss (city palace), built between 1706 and 1714, is the centrepiece of the city. Within the wonderful architecture of its walls the ruling bishops and abbots used to reside. The Vonderau museum, with over 4,000 square metres of exhibition space, is the largest museum between Kassel, Frankfurt and Würzburg. The exhibition on cultural history gives a view into the history of Fulda from the Stone Age to the present. The Dom is Fulda’s beautiful, historical Baroque cathedral. Its spires reach above the Fulda skyline and inside it is intricately decorated. The Michaelskirch church is one of the oldest churches in Germany. Its crypt dates back to the Carolingian dynasty making the church one of the most important medieval sacred buildings. The inside of the church, with its rotunda and crypt, is very impressive.

Travel information

Arrival by car: 2 motorways lead to Fulda, the A7 and the A66 and the routes B27 and B40. Drive in the direction Fulda-City following the signs for Kongresszentrum. Type Fulda-Esperantostrasse into your GPS. Opposite from the hotel is a multi-story car park. Arrival by rail: When arriving with the ICE, IC or Regionalexpress at the Fulda Hauptbahnhof (central train station) leave the station and follow the signs for Kongresszentrum – the hotel is only a 2-minute walk away.
