Area information

Fulpmes, located at 930 metres of altitude, is in one of the sunniest places of the Stubai Valley. During the summer it is an ideal starting point for several excursions and biking tours as it is surrounded by the magnificent landmark of Stubai’s Alps. In the winter it becomes a paradise for those who love winter sports thanks to the ski centre Schlick 2000. The area features 4 ski areas with perfectly groomed slopes to assure unlimited fun. These include Serles in Mieders , the ski lift of Elfer in Neustift, as well as Austria's largest ski centre The Glacier of Stubai with 100 km of slopes. Numerous hiking trails with various levels of difficulty offer you the ultimate mountain experience. In the Stubaital area you can enjoy one of the widest group of excursions paths in the Alps. Bicycles can be rented in almost every place as well as guided tours by bike. Innsbruck is located just 18 km away by train from Fulpmes.

Travel information

By Car: - Take the motorway towards Brennero - Frontiera and continue along the A 13 towards Innsbruck - Exit Schönberg (after the toll gate) and take the road in to the valley until you reach the sign Fulpmes/Telfes - Keep going straight along until the signs for Fulpmes - Turn right into Fulpmes and continue for another 300 metres. By Train: Take the ICE or EC to Innsbruck train station. Upon request we can arrange a taxi (at an additional cost) for 2 people or for families with skis and skiing luggage there is a mini bus (price available upon request). Driving time from Innsbruck train station to Donnerhof is approximately 20 minutes. Alternatively, directly from the train station step onto the Stubaitalbahn which takes you through the romantic countryside to the train station in Fulpmes where the hotel can pick you up for free. A third alternative is the Stubaital bus. We'll pick you up at the Fulpmes village centre bus stop for free (50 metres from the hotel) By Plane: Innsbruck airport is only 18 km from the hotel. Upon request we can arrange a taxi for 2 people (at an additional cost) or for families with skis and skiing luggage there is a mini bus (price available upon request). Driving time from Innsbruck airport to Donnerhof is approximately 20 minutes.
