The refined and welcoming dining room, with its splendid lake view, offers excellent traditional cuisine and international dishes. The restaurant also boasts a veranda along the lake and terrace. A garden snack bar is also available.

Travel information

By Air: Brescia Montichiari airport: 30 km Verona Villafranca: 60 km Bergamo Orio al Serio: 85 km Milano Linate: 130 km Milano Malpensa: 180 km Milan airports are connected with the railway station by a regular, public bus service. In Milan Linate tickets can be bought on the bus. In Milan Malpensa tickets are on sale inside the airport terminal. Of course the railway station can be reached also by taxi. The fare from Linate (130 km) and Malpensa (180 km) is quite expensive. Please note that the journey from Linate to Gardone Riviera takes at least 2 hours. By Train: From Milan: You can stop at Brescia and then get a public bus to Gardone Riviera. Desenzano is closer to Gardone Riviera than Brescia, but buses from Brescia are more frequent. If you take an IC or EC train, a supplement for fast trains must be paid when you purchase the ticket. Remember to validate the train ticket before the departure with the special stamping machines located close to the platform. By Bus: From Brescia, take a public bus in the direction of Toscolano or Gargnano (not Gardone V.T.) to Gardone Riviera. The bus station is located around the building on the left-hand side just outside the railway station. Tickets can be purchased there. Duration of the run: approximately one hour. Public buses from Desenzano to Gardone Riviera leave from just outside the railway station. Tickets can be purchased at the station bar. A few taxis are usually available at Desenzano station up to 24:00. All buses stop 100 metres from the Grand Hotel Gardone. By Car: From Milan: - Take the A4 or A21 motorway. - Exit in Brescia Est. - Follow directions for Lago di Garda and Salò-Gardone Riviera (30 km). From Verona: - Take the A4 motorway. - Exit in Desenzano. - Follow directions for Salò-Gardone Riviera (25 km). From Brennero: - Take the A22 motorway. - Exit at Rovereto Sud - Lago di Garda. - Follow directions for Riva-Brescia (60 km). Transfers: From the airports or the railway stations it is advisable to request the hotel to organise a transfer. A credit card no. and expiration date is required to guarantee.
