Travel information

If you are travelling on the B2 from Munich/Augsburg, turn right after the tunnel and follow the road for Garmisch-Partenkirchen. Continue straight into the town centre until you see the Marienplatz square (behind the church, a fountain is on the left-hand side). At the traffic lights, turn left onto the Alpspitzstraße. At the 1st traffic lights, turn left into St. martinstraße. At the 1st traffic light, turn right onto the Klammstraße. The hotel is the 2nd building on the left-hand side. If you are travelling from Innsbruck, cross the Austrian-German border at Mittenwald/Scharnitz. Follow route B2 until you reach Garmisch-Partenkirchen. At the 4th traffic lights, turn left in the direction of the railway station. At the 2nd traffic lights behind the runnel, turn left onto the Klammstraße. The hotel is the 2nd building on the left-hand side. If you are coming from Füssen/Reutte, cross the Austrian-German border at Griesen and continue in the direction of Garmisch-Partenkirchen. At the 2nd traffic lights, turn right onto St. Martinstraße. At the 2nd traffic lights, turn right onto the Klammstraße. The hotel is the 2nd building on the left-hand side.

You can easily walk to numerous local facilities and attractions. Garmisch-Partenkirchen’s railway station boasts frequent ICE connections to Munich and Innsbruck. The trains serve a wide range of destinations throughout Germany. The Olympic ice stadium features 2 spacious arenas as well as attractive curling and outdoor skating facilities. The Alpspitz wave pool includes 5 indoor pools, a 50-metre outdoor pool, and a beautiful sauna and spa area. The Kurpark hosts frequent concerts in the summer months. You can also enjoy a well-stocked library and stimulating exhibitions here. The Congress Centre is an appealing setting for conventions, concerts and theatre performances. The Casino in Garmisch’s pedestrian area is a fixture with locals and visitors alike. The Hausberg, along with the Kreuzeck and Osterfelder Kopf, is a classic with ski enthusiasts.
