The Vakhos Restaurant is in the central building and incorporates 2 verandas, one with a river view and one with a view of the central swimming pool. Inside you can find also a bar. The restaurant can host 200 people. The central restaurant fills all the conditions of hygiene and has received a sign of quality control from HACCP. Here, you can enjoy representative foods of Cretan nutrition, as well as general Greek, Mediterranean and international food. An American breakfast is also provided. On either veranda, you can enjoy dinner or breakfast on either veranda, as well as in the completely air-conditioned restaurant. You will be satisfied by the large variety of dishes. We can also serve for vegetarians or even children with the buffet.

Area information

The hotel is on the beach and very near to the mountains. The traditional village of Kournas with its lake is 7 kilometres away and the fishermen town of Georgioupolis 4 kilometres. At the doorstep of the hotel is a bus stop. In the surroundings there are cafes and bars, rent a car facilities, mini golf, cash machine (500 metres), super markets, an internet cafe, pharmacy and souvenir shops.

From Chania Airport: - Take the road for Souda port and exit for Rethymno and Heraklion. - 4 kilometres after Georgioupolis you will see us on your left. From Heraklion Airport: - Take the national road to Rethymno and Chania. - 16 kilometres after Rethymno you will enter the municipality of Georgioupolis. - 2 kilometres further turn right onto the side street across from the BP petrol station. - 100 metres further you will see us on your right.
