Area information

As well as the world-famous Balthasar Neumann-Basilika in Gößweinstein, there are many other historical architectural monuments in the nearby surroundings. A visit to the town of Bamberg and also to the “Teufelshöhle” (the longest cave in Germany) with its gigantic stalactites and stalagmites are recommended. “Franconian Switzerland” is well-known for its numerous castles and palaces, waiting to be explored. There is also a nearby animal preserve and a falconry only a few kilometres from the hotel.
