Room information

The Rundlingsdorf Sagasfeld places great emphasis on peace and quiet, and so accordingly the rooms do not feature a television or telephone, to ensure you are not unduly disturbed during your stay. Dining and ayurveda facilities are all contained in the main hotel building.

Food & beverage

Spa guests can enjoy the restaurant at the Rundlingsdorf. The food here is prepared according to Ayurvedic principles, using fresh fruit and vegetables to detoxify you, stimulate your metabolism and promote your sense of well-being. A large selection of conventional menus are of course available to guests who don’t wish to lose weight or follow an Ayurvedic regime. All cooks here are highly trained in the art of preparing Ayurvedic cuisine. Try out the potato diet, or the delicious bread which is freshly baked in the wood oven. In good weather, enjoy a fine vegetarian barbecue in the garden area.

Travel information

From the Hanover direction: Exit the motorway at Soltau Ost, take the B 71 to Uelzen, turn left onto the B191 in towards Dannenberg. From the town of Pudripp turn left towards Hitzacker, until you get Metzingen. Go straight on after the junction towards Hitzacker. After around 100 metres turn right, drive through a car-park and drive up to the Rundlingsdorf Sagasfeld. From the Hamburg direction: Take the A7 motorway in Hamburg or the A1 motorway via Maschen as far as Lüneburg, where you automatically come to the city motorway. Exit at Dannenberg and take the B216 road. After a 20-minute drive you get to Dahlenburg, continue towards Göhrde and then on to Metzingen. Driving through Metzingen, you reach a large junction, where you should turn off left towards Hitzacker. After around 100 metres turn right, drive through a car-park and drive up to the Rundlingsdorf Sagasfeld. From the Kiel direction: In Kiel take the A215 motorway towards Hamburg, and then the A7 motorway through the Elbtunnel, via Maschen towards Winsen/Luhe. Then take the B4 road and proceed as described above for guests coming from the Hamburg direction. From the Berlin direction: From Berlin take the A10 motorway towards Rostock/Hamburg, where you automatically join up with the A24 motorway. Drive via Wittstock as far as the Neustadt-Glewe exit and take the B191 road via Ludwigslust. Then take the Dömitzer Elbbrücke bridge towards Dannenberg. In Dannenberg turn right towards Lüneburg on the B216, and then proceed for around 7 km through a forest area. At the junction immediately before entering Metzingen, follow the signs to the right towards Hitzacker. After around 100 metres turn right, drive through a car-park and drive up to the Rundlingsdorf Sagasfeld.

A team of Ayurvedic doctors from Poona in India regularly come to Sagasfeld to pass on their knowledge to guests and practitioners.
