Food & beverage

The bar/café in the lobby is open daily from 07:00 to 01:00. It serves snacks such as pizza, baguettes and sweets, non-alcoholic beverages, beer and wine. On request lunch is available on weekdays between 12:00 and 13:00.

Travel information

From the train station: By bus: Take bus no. 50 (from Monday to Saturday) in the direction of the cemetery (Friedhof) and get off at the Gürtelturmplatz stop. Cross the street, pass by the building with the "Wiener Städtische" sign and walk until you reach Idlhofgasse 74. On foot: Walk along Bahnhofsgürtel and Eggenberggürtel, turn left (after about 1 km) into Josef-Huber-Gasse and then turn right into Idlhofgasse.

Quick description

JUFA Gästehaus Graz is located in a quiet park with great public transport connections, only a few minutes' walk away from Graz Main Train Station. This comfortable hostel consists of a hotel area, a guesthouse area and backpacker dormitories. The 5 seminar rooms feature modern equipment and natural daylight. The City Adventure Center, the largest indoor climbing arena in Central Europe, occupies the same building. It features an outdoor climbing area and a skywalk 13 metres above the ground. Leisure options include tabletop football, a PlayStation, many games, a children's play area and the large park outside. You can either take a nice, 10-minute walk to the city centre or hop on the bus stopping close to the JUFA Graz. Prices include linen and towels.

Please note that non-members of Hostelling International (HI) or of JUFA Smilecard must either pay an additional fee or purchase a membership card upon arrival if staying shorter than 10 nights.
