Set right on the lakefront, Villa La Mirabella dates back to the mid 19th century. It features a large park with swimming pool overlooking Lake Como. All rooms at La Mirabella have a classic design. All air conditioned, they also come with a flat-screen TV and a minibar. The villa was completely refurbished in 2010. It features a free parking garage, a reading room plus a dining hall and veranda with lake view, where the continental breakfast is served. The restaurant is open for dinner, while snacks are available during the day. There is a small mooring post in front of the villa for private boats and water taxis to tour the lake. Ferries and other boats depart from the dock 150 metres away. Villa Carlotta Museum is also just 150 metres away, while buses to Menaggio and San Moritz stop nearby.
