On sunny days our guest take their breakfast on our terrace with view to the "Altmühl-Aue" In the evenings you can relax in our bar "la Luna" offering a comfortable atmosphere and a variety of alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks. Our chimny room is cosy and invites you on cold autumn and winter evenings. For relaxation the „Club Vital“ is at our guests´ disposal and offers sauna, steaming bath and different beauty treatments. Furthermore our hotel features an adventure pool with many attractions e.g. waterfall, whirlpools, massage chair. We additionally are equipped perfectly for conferences, besides several conference rooms the town hall can be booked as well.

Room information

Our four star hotel provides cosy and comfortably furnished rooms. To ensure the right ambience 44 different furnishing styles could be chosen, always combined with generous en-suite bathrooms. For allergic persons we reserve our "Bio”-rooms which are furnished with specially selected natural materials. Of course non-smokers may use rooms on the extra non-smoking floors of the hotel.

Food & beverage

In our restaurant "Chicorée“ we offer a various choice ranging from typical regional "bratwurst" to a candle-light-dinner. Later you can enjoy the rest of the evening in our bar "La Luna"

Area information

The romantic "Altmühltal" is located in the heart of Bavaria. The landscape is characterised by hills and rough lime-rocks. In the vicinity you can find the Frankish "Seenland" with many lakes, a paradise not only for sportive activities in an intact, attractive cultural surrounding. This region is for everyone`s taste: either in summer going swimming with the family or in autumn undertaking hiking tours or biking

Travel information

Near the Altmuhl reservoir and town centre Motorway A6 Heilbronn - Nuremberg, Exit Ansbach / Gunzenhausen (16 km) Nuremberg / Furth / Erlangen (ca. 50 km).

Quick description

The Parkhotel Altmühltal is located in the Franconia surrounded by lakes and being ons of the most beautiful holiday destinations in South Germany. Our house provides a restaurant, a bar, a swimming pool with sauna, cosmetic facilities and conference rooms.
