Hotel information

Since 1711, the oldest guest house of the Lower Rhine region has spoilt its customers with freshly prepared delights every day. The multi-purpose function room can host up to 100 guests. The completely automatic bowling alley and bar area can be used by as many as 35 guests upon request.

Treat yourself to delicious fish and wine, steak and beer. Whether you are here to celebrate with your family, organise a memorable meeting and office event, or want to enjoy a romantic dinner for two, the restaurant team will cater to your every need. Up to 70 guests can enjoy the freshly prepared regional delights, tasteful music and cheerful ambience. The bar boasts an additional seating capacity of 30. Catch up on the latest gossip as you savour a cool beer or frothy cappuccino.

Travel information

If you are travelling on the A3 motorway from Oberhausen, exit at Hamminkeln. Turn left at the slip road, then turn right at the first traffic light junction. Follow the main road for approximately 4.5 km. When you reach the sign “Haldern 7 km”, turn right and continue to the heart of the village. At the junction, you will find the hotel on the left-hand side. If you are travelling on the A 57 motorway from Krefeld or Nijmegen, exit at Alpen. Turn left onto the B58 for Wesel and continue straight across the Rhine bridge. At the first traffic light, turn left for Emmerich/Rees. Continue on the B8 until you reach Haldern. Turn right before the pedestrian traffic lights. Follow the Bahnhofstraße until you reach the hotel. If you are travelling on the A3 motorway from Arnheim, exit at Rees, then turn right for Bocholt. After approximately 2 km, turn right for Haldern and follow the road until you reach the village centre. When you reach the market, you will see the hotel on the left-hand side.
