Gasthaus Hilligenley offers rooms with sea views, local cuisine, and a large sun terrace. It is 600 metres from the ferry port in Hilligenley, on the North Frisian Island of Hallig. Hilligenley’s rooms and apartments feature bright, sunny décor. Some rooms include a private bathroom, and some have use of shared bathrooms in the hallways. The apartments feature fully equipped kitchens. Guests begin the day with a breakfast buffet. In the afternoons, coffee and homemade cakes can be enjoyed on the sun terrace overlooking the Wadden Sea. Crabs, stuffed fish and local lamb are served in Hillgenley’s cosy restaurant. In warm weather, guests can enjoy barbecues and salad on the terrace. Water colour painting courses are offered at the Gasthaus Hilligenley. Guests can also enjoy fishing and hiking, or can take the ferry to the islands of Hooge and Amrum.
