Area information

The hotel is located next to the Tharandt forest. The hotel is an ideal base for trips to all the attractions of Sachsen – the famous city of Dresden, the porcelain city of Meißen or the Erzgebirge – home to woodcarvers and toy manufacturers, and last but not least Freiberg with the underground mine and the cathedral with the Silbermann organ. Go on a tour on the oldest and biggest steamboat (Raddampfer) in the world and explore the charming Elb-Sandstein mountains. Or visit the famous Semper opera in Dresden – an unforgettable experience. All these attractions are within 40 km of the hotel.

Embedded in this unique forest landscape you find our "Waldhotel Bergschloesschen". Enjoy the view of the health resort Hetzdorf from our outdoor terrace. On the horizon you can see the motorway, which conveniently connects Dresden and Freiberg. This ensures optimal transport connections in the entire region. All points of interest in Saxony are reachable within a 40-km radius!
