The best way to arrange your visit is to plan it out ahead according to the time you have available. Our hotels and facilities are at your disposal should you wish to stay longer than a day and experience the beauty of the lakes at its fullest. Park is opened from 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Visitors with dogs: dogs are allowed only on a leash. The entrance ticket is a contribution for permanent protection and maintenance of Plitvice Lakes National Park. It is valid for one day, and in case of a longer stay, it can be extended. The entrance fee includes the use of shuttle bus and electric boat within the chosen tour, visitor's insurance and tax.

You can get there either from Zagreb or from the Adriatic coast along D-1 motorway. Arriving from Zagreb - When you are in Zagreb, get on the highway A1 Zagreb - Karlovac - Get off the highway just before Karlovac (you will notice brown sign "Plitvicka Jezera", which shows direction to Plitvice lakes) - from that point you have around 86km on the road D1 - When you are in Karlovac follow the main road (D1), and drive to Plitvicka jezera (Plitvice lakes) - Once you get to Plitvicka Jezera drive past Entrance 1 (Jezero Hotel) and Entrance 2 (Bellevue and Plitvice Hotels). After another 1 km, at the village of Plitvicka Jezera turn right just past the small bus stop - Continue driving 50 metres to the Y-intersection near the village map - that is entrance to our village "Mukinje" - Turn right at Y, proceed driving for 150 metres past first turning to left, drive another 100 metres and take that turning to left just in front of the old house which was the post office before. Travel information

Guests arriving by bus should get off at Rastovaca bus station, or inform the property about their estimated time of arrival and they will try to pick you up at the bus stop. Since this property is situated in the centre of the Plitvice Lakes National Park, this boardinghouse is not signposted on the main road (because of the National Park general policy). This family property is situated at the border of Plitvice Lakes National Park, only 400 meters from the entrance to the park near the big waterfall and the Licka Kuca restaurant. Since the Krizmanic Family B&B is just a 5-minute walk from the park, there is no need to pay the national park parking fee. Park is opened from 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. The entrance ticket is a contribution for permanent protection and maintenance of Plitvice Lakes National Park. It is valid for one day, and in case of a longer stay, it can be extended. The entrance fee includes the use of shuttle bus and electric boat within the chosen tour, visitor's insurance and tax.

Closest airport is at Zagreb - about 140km away, while railway connections are in Karlovac (90km away) or again Zagreb (140km away). Approximately 30 buses pass to/from Zagreb/South Croatia daily.
